NAMASWINE AND UNWIND
Join us for a fun-filled fundraiser for piggies!
Megan Rader from Kula Yoga will be leading a Vinyasa flow class for 60 minutes, followed by a tour of the property where you get to meet the 65 residents and get a chance to boop noses, give belly rubs, and hear beautiful oinks, we will then conclude with a yummy vegan box lunch.
   Lunch Includes:
     Mexican Fruit Cup
     Pasta Salad Cup
     2 Mini Cucumber Sandwiches
     1 Mini Hummus Veggie Wrap
      Cookies
     WaterÂ
Bring your water, mat, towel, and closed-toed shoes for walking through the pastures! If you’d like, you may bring produce snacks for the pigs!
Lastly, please arrive 15 minutes early to sign waivers and get set up.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made after 8/30/24 will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Payment processing fees will not be refunded.
Cancellations made before 8/30/24 will be processed without penalty. Payment processing fees will not be refunded.
Private Tours
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND DO NOT HAVE REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS.
As noted above, we are not open to the public and do not have regular business hours as the rescue is operated from our home.
Sponsorship/Patreon Tours: Free Private tours are offered to NSLB supporters who sponsor a resident or are patrons pledging at least $10 per month. Information about Sponsorship is located here. Information about Patreon is located here.
Due to work schedules outside of the rescue in conjunction with rescue operations, weekends work best for tours. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may pose. We thank you for your understanding in that the care of the residents must come first, and that time is limited and precious. That being said, with enough time & planning we may be able to accommodate a weekday visit if you have flexibility in your schedule. Please email us to schedule your private tour. We ask that you please submit your request for your private tour at least 2 weeks in advance.
Monthly Guided Tours: We offer guided tours monthly, June through September. We request a $30 donation per visitor age 16 and above and a $15 donation per visitor age 15 and under. Tours are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes long.
2024 Tour Dates:
Private Tours: We offer private tours June through September. We may be able to accommodate requests outside of tour season, schedule & conditions permitting. We request a minimum donation of $150 for up to 4 guests. Each additional guest is $25 each, up to a maximum of 8 guests. A guided tour through the sanctuary learning about the residents and their stories is approximately 2 – 2 1/2 hours long. You are welcome to bring your own vegan picnic lunch to enjoy at our picnic table. Payment is required to reserve your tour. Email us at tours@noswineleftbehind for scheduling.
Visitor Information
No Swine Left Behind is located at 2537 E Coral Rd., Edmore, MI 48829. Â We are about 60 minutes from Lansing, Grand Rapids, & Saginaw.
Our monthly scheduled tour begins promptly at 2:00 PM
All monthly tours are prescheduled through our website. Tours last about an hour and a half and take place outside at a leisurely pace. As a guest, you will be given an opportunity to interact with and learn about our rescued residents.
Attire: During the tour, we will be entering animal areas and there can be muddy areas as well, closed toed shoes are required, rubber boots or hiking boots are highly encouraged throughout the year. You will get dirty during your visit; this is a farm like setting. Be mindful that pigs are curious and will pull on buckles, zippers, laces, etc. Our tours take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Guests are encouraged to take photographs throughout the tour and share them on social media!
Weather: Tours take place rain or shine, so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. In cases of extreme weather (thunder or snowstorms), NSLB will contact guests about a cancellation and reschedule.
Companion Animals: Companion animals are not permitted. While we are thrilled that you may want to share your experience with your non-human friends & family; for the safety of them and the residents here, they are strictly prohibited. Please leave your companion at home because we also do not allow them to be left in a car during your tour.
Refunds/Transfers:Â We regret that we are unable to offer refunds and/or transfers for tour tickets. The income that we bring in through our tours is critical to the operation of our organization. When tickets are purchased, the tour slot becomes unavailable for other guests to sign up. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
Accessibility: Our tours take place on dirt paths, grass pastures, and inside barns all of which may not be completely wheelchair friendly. If you have accessibility issues, please email us at tours@noswineleftbehind.org to make arrangements.
Donations: Bringing a donation is appreciated but not required. Items we always need include fresh fruit/veggies, peanut butter, and animal crackers. In order to keep everyone safe, feeding the residents may not be an option during your visit. Also, here is our online wishlist.
Expectations: Each non-human resident is an individual. They have individual personalities, wants, needs, preferences. While we do have many that tend to actively seek out attention & interaction it is not guaranteed. Their participation is based on their terms. Â
Liability Waiver: All visitors will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability.
